Job Description Crown Staffing-Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) for a long-term care/rehabilitation facility for veterans in Wilmore, KY.
$45/HR.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities:
oAssist in directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing activities.
oVisit residents on a daily basis in order to observe and evaluate each resident's physical and emotional status.
oAdmit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
oPerform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.
oInform nursing service personnel of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment, etc.
Ensure that rooms are ready for new admissions.
oMake rounds with physicians as necessary.
oProvide direct nursing care as necessary.
oStart IVs, obtain sputum, urine, and other specimens for lab tests as ordered.
oAssist the Charge Nurse in monitoring seriously ill residents.
oTake TPRs, blood pressures, etc.
, as necessary.
Requirements:
-Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
-Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices, is ideal.
-2 years or more experience preferably in a long-term care facility.
-CPR/BLS -COVID Vaccination(s), booster not required at this time.
