We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic Nurse Aide who possesses thedesire to care for Kentucky's Veterans.
Expectations include but are not limited to:
Assist residents with personnel hygiene such as bathing, dental/Oral Care, Hair/Nail care.
Must have an active status as a nurse aide on the KBN Nurse Aide Registry.
Assist residents with bowel and bladder functions by escorting to the bathroom, providing bedpan orportable commodes.
Checks and records intake and output flow charts.
Assist with meals and nourishments for residents requiring assistance and restorative dining.
Perform total physical care to include assisting with meals, as well as helping to meet the physicaland psychosocial needs of our Veterans.
Measure and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respirations, height, as instructed.
Collects and labels specimens for laboratory analysis.
Strong interpersonal skills This job requires mandatory COVID 19 vaccination or an approved exemption in accordance with CMS-3415-IFC fromthe Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
This means if appointed to the position, the applicant musthave completed the primary vaccination series for COVID-19, which means the administration of a single-dosevaccine or the administration of all required doses of a multi-dose vaccine upon commencement of employment.
The vaccine received must be one of the FDA-approved or FDA-authorized vaccines.
Proof of vaccination will berequired.
If a medical or religious exemption is sought, the candidate must submit paperwork to the employerprior to appointment for review and approval.
